About Bharat PetroResources Limited

Bharat Petroleum entered the upstream sector in 2003 with an aim to provide partial supply security of crude and hedging of price risks and to become a vertically integrated oil company.

A wholly owned subsidiary company of Bharat Petroleum, by the name Bharat PetroResources Limited (BPRL) was incorporated in October 2006.

BPRL was set up with the objective of carrying out Exploration and Production activities considering the need for a focused approach in Exploration and Production activities and implementation of investment plans of Bharat Petroleum at a faster pace.
